Leo Steinberg, an art critic and a leading expert in the world of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, known for his studies of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Francesco Borromini, passed away in New York at the age of 90 anni.Di Jewish origin, born in 1920, born in Moscow and raised in Germany, in Berlin, having studied at the University of London Slade School of Fine Art, in '45 he moved to New York, where he later obtained U.S. citizenship.
