BROTHERHOOD Will Canon, 2010
If there's one thing I have always hated the brotherhoods. A little 'because it is virtually certain, I was American, I would have never taken the contrary, I'd probably be finished straight between the favorite targets of the mocked sporty shift, a little' because I always found it easier to identify, more that in the elitist, snooty sex and members of a frat house in sfigatissimi outsider style Revenge of the nerd. Then, see a movie where the members of a fraternity not a fine, is in itself a great pleasure. With a starting fulminant Canon , that Brotherhood is in his first race for the long haul, brings us to the middle of adrenaline initiation ceremony for new members of Zeta Sigma Chi, and, needless to say , the first few minutes everything starts to go to hell with a snowball effect that will bring the players to experience the worst night of their lives. Canon does not waste a single frame, when things start to go wrong, there is no single second to take a breath. The story becomes gradually more and more agitated, more dramatic, with the highest and furious pace of a coaster ride, which, to be honest, the finish is likely to become a flaw. The accumulation of so many elements into one unit of time so limited (as many as humanly bad luck can happen in one night?) May be a stretch, going to inevitably clash with the suspension of disbelief. Assistance to a director, however, are the small time, eighty minutes low, that in a movie so supported by the rhythm is perfect, and good test of the cast. On all the young Trevor Morgan , Jon Foster and Lou Taylor Pucci , reciting burst fuck do their job well, is fully credible in the part of kids just to be part of an elite in the name of a concept diverted of honor and brotherhood, you are definitely a few qualms about stealing, kidnapping, blackmail and threaten anyone who gets in the middle. Brotherhood then, despite the scarcity of resources and despite not being free from certain defects, thanks to a clever script and a dizzyingly frenetic pace is a good thriller able to entertain big time.
