Gunter Amendt, a sociologist and journalist, considered one of the foremost experts on the issue of drugs in Hamburg, died Saturday following an accident which killed three other people. Amendt was in a group of pedestrians on the sidewalk awaiting the green light to cross the street when a car rammed by another has invaded the area in which they were killed four people and injuring another.
